Information Docket stores

Docket stores the information you choose to enter or import, which may include member records, interview information, meeting notes, temple recommend status information, preferences, and related administrative details. This information is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's local data-storage frameworks.

Information we collect

We do not collect your Docket records. Docket has no developer-operated account system, analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising system. Your use of Docket is not tied to a profile maintained by us.

PDF imports

Docket can process member directory reports and temple recommend status reports that you select. These imports are performed on your device. You are responsible for obtaining, handling, and retaining these reports in accordance with applicable Church policies.

Calendar access

If you grant calendar permission, Docket can display events from the Apple calendars you select and create events in a calendar you choose. Calendar data is handled through Apple's EventKit framework. Your calendar provider may separately sync calendar information according to the provider settings and terms you have chosen.

On-device intelligence

On supported Macs, AI Overview and Docket Assistant can use Apple's on-device language model to help explain information already available in Docket. AI Overview creates a short administrative briefing. Docket Assistant can answer read-only questions about local member records, interviews, notes, selected calendar information, and Docket settings. These features do not send those records to a developer-controlled AI service. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, Docket Assistant may provide supported local summaries instead. The features can be disabled, and Docket's other tools continue to work without them.

Docket Assistant limits

Docket Assistant is designed to explain information and support preparation. It does not schedule events, edit records, mark work complete, or make spiritual or worthiness judgments. Users remain responsible for reviewing information and deciding what action is appropriate.

Backups and exports

Docket lets you export a backup file. You choose where that file is saved and are responsible for protecting it. If you place a backup in a cloud-synced folder or share it through another service, that service's privacy practices apply.

Data deletion

You can remove individual records from Docket or reset the app's local data. Deleting the app may not delete backup files that you previously exported or calendar events created outside Docket.

Responsible use

Docket is an administrative aid. It is not an official Church record system and is not a substitute for Church policy, training, or judgment. Users should record only appropriate information, limit access to their Mac, and follow all applicable policies when handling sensitive member information.

Affiliation

Docket is an independent product controlled by Rose Software Development Group LLC and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as Docket evolves. A public support and privacy contact address will be added before Docket's release.
